Easy No-Bake Energy Balls for Kids

Easy No-Bake Energy Balls for Kids Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 1 pouch Maja's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix 
  • Flax egg: 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 3 tbsp water
  • 12 tablespoons butter (¾ cup)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil (or sub another type of oil like canola)
  • 5 Tablespoons Brewer's Yeast Powder 
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • Optional: ¼ cup flaked coconut; ¼ cup sunflower seeds; 2 tablespoons almond butter

      Instructions: 

      In a medium sized bowl, combine the mashed banana, maple syrup, coconut oil, nut butter (peanut or almond), and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Next, add in the overnight oat mix and mix again. 

      Once these ingredients have blended togmedium-sizedether, gently fold in the pretzel pieces and craisins. Take a small scoop of the mixture (about 2 inches) and roll it into small balls. This recipe should make about 24 mini energy balls. Add them to a Mini Cupcake Pan or a lined baking sheet. Place them in the fridge to set for at least 2 hours before enjoying. 

      These energy balls can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or thrown in the freezer to enjoy at a later date!
