Fruit Tarts Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Maja's Matcha Sugar Cookie Mix
- 6 tbsp margarine (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp of your favorite non-dairy milk
- 2 fresh kiwi (diced or sliced)
- 1 cup of sliced strawberries
- 1 mango (diced or sliced)
- ½ cup pecans (cut into small pieces)
- ½ cup blueberries
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions:
First, you can begin to prepare the cookie-bases for the tarts. In a large bowl, add Maja’s Matcha Cookie Mix in with the margarine and non-dairy milk. Be sure to mix these contents until smooth. Spoon the cookie dough into greased tart pans, and then place in the freezer for about 20 minutes or so.
While the cookies are chilling in the freezer, you can preheat your oven to 350°F. Once the oven is ready, place the tarts in the oven for about 8 minutes. Remove the tarts from the oven once they look a little golden, and let them cool completely.
Next, you can begin to prepare the fruit and pecan mixture. Cut the kiwi, strawberries, and mango to your desired size and appearance. Do the same with the pecans - we recommend smaller pieces of each of these!
Add the cut fruit and pecans to a bowl and mix in the maple syrup. Fold gently until all the contents have been coated by the syrup. When the tarts have cooled, remove them from the pan and fill with the fruit mixture.
These tarts are as delicious as they are beautiful. Enjoy!
