Chocolate Chip Blondie Bars

Chocolate Chip Blondie Bar Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 1 pouch Maja's Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix 
  • ½ cup softened non-dairy butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons applesauce
  • ⅔ cup gluten-free flour blend

      Instructions: 

      Begin by preheating your oven to 350° Fahrenheit and greasing a square baking pan (or lining it with parchment paper). Now you’re ready to begin preparing the blondie mix. 

      Add the non-dairy butter into a medium-sized bowl and mix it with a stand or hand mixer until it becomes creamy. Add in the vanilla and the applesauce and mix again. In a separate bowl, add Maja’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, the brown sugar, and the gluten-free flour together. At this point, you’re ready to combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture. Put them together in one bowl and mix it all together. 

      Scoop all of the dough into the square pan and flatten it along the edges of the pan with your hand or a spatula. Bake the blondies for 22-25 minutes or until your desired consistency has been reached (some like it extra gooey). Keep in mind that they will firm up a bit after taking them out of the oven! 

      Let the blondies cool completely before cutting and serving. Enjoy!
