Garden Brownies Recipe
- 1 pkg Maja Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 grams semi sweet or dark chocolate
- 80 grams margarine
- Edible flowers
Preheat your oven to 325°F, and then begin by putting one package of Maja’s Chocolate Cake & Cupcake Mix into a large bowl. Next, you’ll mix in the applesauce, oil, and unsweetened non-dairy milk with either a hand mixer or whisk.
Once those ingredients are well-mixed, add in the vanilla extract. At this point, you’ll want to add the boiling water. Beat the mix on low speed until the consistency is smooth.
Next, microwave the chocolate and butter until you have a thin, smooth texture. Add that chocolate into the brownie mix and combine until smooth.
Pour your batter into a greased pan, and bake for 20-22 minutes. After removing the brownies from the oven, let them cool and then add some edible flowers for a little extra flair and color!
