Ginger Winter Waffles

Ginger Winter Waffles Recipe
Yield: about 5 small waffles or 4 medium-sized waffles

Special equipment: Your favorite waffle maker
- 1 cup of Maja Pancake & Waffle Mix
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 3 tbsp non-dairy margarine
- ½ cup non-dairy milk (soy, almond, etc.)
Begin preparing these yummy waffles by adding the dry mix into a large bowl. Add in the ground ginger, cinnamon, ground cloves, and nutmeg, and stir until the contents are well mixed. Next, melt the non-dairy margarine and add it to the mix. Stir in the non-dairy milk, and you are all set to cook the waffles!
Using your favorite waffle maker, be sure to let it heat up a bit and spray it well with a nonstick spray before adding any batter. Take a spoonful of the mix and slowly add it to the waffle maker. The amount will vary depending on the size of your waffle iron. Close the lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat this step until the rest of the batter has been used, but remember to spray the iron in between each waffle!
Add your favorite topping, and enjoy!
