Matcha Yogurt Crumble Parfait Recipe


  • 1 Package of Maja's Matcha Sugar Cookie Mix 
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 banana
  • ⅓ cup of Greek yogurt per serving
  • Optional: 1 tsp agave
  • Optional: Matcha powder


      You will begin these parfaits by preparing the matcha sugar cookies first. Set your oven to 325° Fahrenheit, and then begin preparing the dough by beating the butter and milk together in a medium-sized bowl. You can use a hand mixer or a whisk. Once the consistency becomes creamy, you can then add in the vanilla. Once combined, add in the cookie mix and stir together.

      Scoop a small spoonful of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet (or on parchment paper) and flatten the dough balls slightly before baking. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside to cool! 

      Next, you’ll want to begin creating the parfait. Scoop your favorite yogurt into a small bowl. We love the Kite Hill Greek Yogurt if you are looking for a vegan brand! Break up the matcha cookies into small pieces and crumble it on top of the yogurt. Cut up the banana in slices and top the parfait with them. 

      Feel free to add the optional toppings of agave or matcha powder for a little extra flavor and flair. Enjoy!
